The advantages of Portable kerosene heaters

Perhaps the name says it all - portable kerosene heaters are, well... portable. When they are empty of fuel they are an easily manageable weight, meaning that they can easily be moved about - heating different areas as required. But also they do not need to be connected to the mains like so many other types of portable heat, which can be a real advantage.

Outdoor and indoor kerosene heaters are also capable of providing a lot of heat, which is what you really want from a heater after all! Modern versions come with cut outs built in, so if the thing is toppled, the flames are shut off straight away, cutting down the fire risk.

Of course kerosene heaters come in various sizes, and the larger models can be enough to provide home heating in some cases, and the smaller models may be absolutely perfect for other setting - cabins, farms, hunting camps and so on.

When looking for kerosene portable heaters look out for quality brands offering the above safety features, and keep an eye out for a good, reliable and easy to use ignition switch - many are push button systems. Always have adequate ventilation when using a kerosene heater.

There is not much to go wrong on kerosene units so if you look after them they will serve you loyally for years.
