A look at electric radiant heat panels

There are some good reasons to take a good long look at electric radiant heat panels when the time comes to install, replace or upgrade your heating.

The first reason applies to all radiant heating systems - this type of heat is just nicer to live with! (Most users who have experienced both will agree with this.) The alternative, forced air heat, tend to blow in hot air which leads to air-bourne irritants like dust mites being blown around. Not good for asthma sufferers. Also this kind of heating can lead to hot and cold spots around a room.

On the other hand, most all of the radiant heat design systems lead to less air movement and less cold spots.

Radiant electric heat has an advantage over some of the other radiant heating options however. Most of the other systems work by heating water that is sent from a boiler through a network of pipes to radiators.

Go for radiant electric heat and there is no boiler, no network of pipes... the installation is definitely easier! The panels we are talking about come in sleek modern designs that mean there is no need to compromise your design ideas.

And if stylish panels are still too intrusive, maybe you could have a gander at electric radiant floor heat.
